My sea moss in gel form |
Sea vegetables are nutritious according to the many online stores that sell it. When you get down to the basics, it would seem that a vegetable of any variety would do a body good. Although, there are some that require more preparation than others. I mean, it's not like a carrot, "pull it out of the ground wipe off the dirt and eat." For Irish Moss you must go through a little more than that . To understand what I mean by this please have a look at my video to see how I prepared Irish Moss for the first time EVER!
In the meantime, do yourself and your body a big favor and read up on Irish Moss. Find out what's good, bad, and/or ugly. Don't forget to consult your medical professional before adding/changing anything relating to your health and well-being. As we all know, too much of a good thing can ultimately be BAD.
Here are some other sea vegetables that I currently consume; not on a regular basis but often enough to mention:
Dulse Flakes
Kelp
Nori Sheets
Wakame
Arame
I did a search on google to find articles that were pretty current and informative. Here's one that I liked and hope you will also. SUPERFOODS: Sea Vegetables, Article by Maria RippoTo learn more about these and other sea veggies do a Google search. Don't forget to site your source so everyone can check out more information published by the author.
This one tempted me a little, but i'll go to a doctor first. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHope it is ok to mention a new blog on easy vegetarian recipes: http://easyvegetarianrecipes.topwebreview.com
Hey there sis,
ReplyDeleteI have quite a lot of useful links on my blog for buying good products but here is the link for raw living
http://www.rawliving.eu/
This is one of my favourite places. Quick delivery here in the UK, good communications etc, it is a good raw company!! The Rawtella I bought is from Raw Living and it truly is DEEEELICOUS!!.
Lecithin thickens and makes raw recipes creamy. Kate Wood who owns Raw Living makes a Irish Moss recipe on the Raw Living site and she uses Lecithin.
Cacao Butter I use to make raw chocolate but it is used for lots of recipes in raw recipe books, as is Lecithin.
I keep asking for your email address, so if you leave it on my comments then I can send you the Grezzo Cheese recipe. I wont publish your email address in my comments.
I did buy quite a lot this month, I tend to buy a lot every now and then to stock up.
Well that is all for now and keep you vids coming, I do LOVE them and I look daily.
Luv ya sis x
Thanks for the info. I sent you my email addy in a response and wondered why I hadn't gotten any emails from ya...hahaha. I guess you never received the email address. Well I should have checked with ya to make sure but I will send it again and hope that you are able to receive it. Isn't Lecithin a product of soybean? I remember seeing a video about it but cannot remember where I saw the vid. Have you used it lots? Do a vid demonstrating how it's used. Thanks sis.
ReplyDeleteI loved your video for this! Where did you your irish sea moss?
ReplyDeleteI purchased my Irish Sea Moss from a vendor online. I cannot remember the persons contact info and when I went back to the invoice there wasn't anything besides pertinent items of the purchase. I just did a google search and found the best deal.
DeleteHere's an article I did on sea moss paste a couple of years ago..most it's basically the raw version of carageenan moss, which most people have seen in lots of food ingredients. It's used as a thickener.
ReplyDeleteFeel free to check out my research on it...
